Needlepoint gel ink rollerball. 0.5mm nib writes a 0.25mm line of smooth water-resistant pigmented ink.

We believe the P-500 and P-700 were Pilot's first gel ink pens. The styling is rather dated now, but they're still nice, smooth needlepoint rollerballs with water-resistant pigment gel ink.
