Kiriko is a Japanese craft where glass is cut into intricate patterns, which became popular in the Edo period. These pens have traditional Kiriko patterns printed on their barrels.

The Pentel EnerGel Retractable rollerball has a rubber grip area with grooved fingerprint pattern, and a metal pocket clip. Pentel claim that their hybrid liquid gel ink is smoother flowing and quicker drying than ordinary gel ink.
