Montblanc StarWalker Extreme Doue Fountain Pen Medium

The StarWalker Extreme, is an interesting entry into the range. The dome up top has gone from Montblanc's usual clear resin to a translucent orange that catches the light like something mid-launch. There's a real sense of energy to it, which feels fitting for a pen with "Extreme" in the name. The black precious resin barrel carries the Extreme pattern, pulled from Montblanc's own archive of artwork and shared with their Extreme leather goods, so if you're the type who likes your pen and your wallet having a conversation with each other, this is your moment.

The cap and clip are both finished in ruthenium-coated metal, giving a cool, slightly industrial sheen that plays nicely off the warmth of that orange dome. Even the nib gets the treatment: solid 18k (Au 585) gold, ruthenium-coated, with its own special embossing, so the detailing carries all the way down to the page.
