Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel Pencil. An ideal alternative to traditional pastels, the 4.3mm oil-free lead is sheathed in a wooden casing, just like a normal pencil, and goes a long way to preventing the dirty fingers and piles of coloured dust that usually result from working with pastels!

Colours can be blended and smudged as preferred, and a good sharp point is perfect for fine lines and detailing. Lead contains a high level of acid-free pigment with superb lightfastness. It's very compact and therefore economical to use. Only minimal fixing is required, to ensure artworks retain their vivid colours. Massive range of colours, with particular emphasis on muted shades and earth tones.
